Tonight! Bring your bad asses to the High-Hat Club to witness the talent that is Bailey Dee and Her Late Night Bait! We are lucky enough to boast Bailey Dee as one of the High-Hat’s resident groups.

Bailey Dee and Her Late Night Bait features Jason Larsen and Tony “The Face” Bryan (guitar and sax for local Chicago R&B legend Andre Williams), jazz drummer Tommy Lowery, bassist Jesse Woelfel (ex Chicago’s “Million Dollar Quartet”), and, of course, the beautiful and brassy Ms. Bailey Dee herself.

A bit more about this awesome crew:

Michigan born, Chicago R&B bred. Chicago’s mean rhythm and blues screamer, Bailey Dee found the rock and roll handbook and reads it right! Reminding many of Big Mama Thornton, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and Etta James, with the jump blues sensibilities of Wynonie Harris. A full band backs her featuring members of legendary R&B Chicagoan Andre Williams band and ex-Million Dollar Quartet.

They’re students of the Chicago blues scene with a nod to the classics, and a soft spot for tone.
